ALPHA FILM FESTIVAL POSTER DESIGN COMPETITION
Calling all community artists and designers, ALPHA FILM FESTIVAL is excited to launch its first ever Community Festival Poster Design Competition.
Submissions are now open to design a festival poster for the 2023 edition of AFF. All entries which fulfill the requirements will be displayed within the MILC Platform and voted on in a public poll.
The winner and top runners up will receive $MLT tokens from a total prize pool worth 10,000 USD. The winning design will receive 5,000 USD in $MLT tokens from the pool, with their poster design to be adopted by AFF as its official poster, to be displayed during the festival and used in promotional materials.
The theme is simple, “The Future”, in line with the festival’s central film program, so let your creativity run wild! Whether painted, hand drawn, computer/AI-generated, you have full creative freedom.
All entries must be submitted by 31st January 2023, either via email aff@milc.global or via Twitter @alphafilmfest. An announcement of when the public voting will commence will be sent shortly afterwards.

OFFICIAL RULES
Basic Information
Eligibility: All participants must be registered users of the MILC Community (Register at https://community.milc.global/auth/register )
Entry Limit: Only one poster may be submitted per person
Entry Deadline: Entries must be submitted by 31st January 2023.
Poster Requirements
Objective: Design a poster to promote AFF, in line with the 2023 central film program, “The Future”.
Copy: Poster must contain the official AFF logo (link) & Dates (3rd -7th March 2023)
Credit: A small credit line with the designer’s name is allowed.
Media: Any mixed media suitable for reproduction as a poster is allowed, including computer-generated graphics. Posters must be two-dimensional. All posters must be original art. No trademarked or copyrighted images or phrases should be used, except for the AFF logo.
Files: Submissions must be in JPG or PNG format only. If submitting a traditional painting or drawing, it should be scanned and sent as a JPG or PNG file.
Resolution: 1024x683 pixels or above
Format: Horizontal, measuring 3x2
Rights
All winning entries become the property of MILC Platform, a project of Welt der Wunder Senderbetrieb GmbH.
Except as used by the AFF and its partner companies, all artists, including the winner, will retain the rights to their work. Entry in the contest constitutes full permission to publish names of winners without further compensation. The determination of eligibility of entries and any interpretation of these rules is at the sole discretion of MILC Platform and shall be final and binding upon all entrants.
By participating, the entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by these rules.
About Alpha Film Festival
ALPHA FILM FESTIVAL (AFF) is a ground-breaking film festival of the future, brought to you by The Film Verdict and The MILC Platform.
