Cannes Film Festival in the Metaverse
This year, we’ve brought the glamour of the Cannes Film Festival into the Metaverse. Film enthusiasts had the opportunity to explore an exclusive backstage experience, engaging with a special podcast series featuring interviews with film industry professionals. This initiative, in partnership with The Film Verdict, provided a unique platform for immersive storytelling and networking.
Bitkom Roundtable: Breaking Metaverse Silos
MILC was proud to host the Bitkom Roundtable at our Munich headquarters. The event focused on ‘Breaking Metaverse Silos’ and featured a diverse panel of experts who discussed the integration of the Metaverse across various industries, emphasizing the importance of system interoperability and collaborative advancements.
Industry Conferences and Discussions
- CONF3RENCE 2024: Our CEO, Hendrik Hey, participated in a panel discussing the vast potential of the Metaverse beyond virtual displays, highlighting insights into blockchain, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and AI.

Token Claiming Platform Closure
The MILC Platform BEP20 $MLT Token Claiming Platform was closed at the end of May, following our token migration efforts in November 2023.
Token Distribution:
We successfully distributed two new batches of BEP20 $MLT tokens to eligible community members.
