MILC PLATFORM PARTNERS WITH UK-CHINA FILM COLLAB
MILC Platform is ecstatic to announce our partnership with the UK-China Film Collab Ltd. The UK-China Film Collab Ltd (UCFC), Founded by Dr Hiu Man Chan, is an independent non-profit organization that is working to inspire and invent film related collaboration and cutting edge debate between the UK and Greater China. As a public facing organization and facilitator, they are committed to creative innovation, knowledge transfer, dialogue building, communication improvement, R&D and policy advocacy.
This came after our senior licensing manager, Richard Flynn, attended an event conducted by UCFC in October on behalf of the MILC team. We are confident that this partnership will prove to be very fruitful for the MILC Platform. UCFC will support us through their extensive network and promotions thus providing us greater exposure. They will be referring potential clients to our platform and thereby help increase our reach in new and bigger markets. We will also provide UCFC with space within our MILC media metaverse to share and promote their research, news, educational tools, as well as offering the ability to host special events and screenings, once our platform goes live!
This partnership aims at achieving the following crucial goals:
• Establish a mutually beneficial relationship between the two parties, sharing the common goal to promote and encourage film related collaboration and debate between Greater China and the UK and across Europe.
• Educate and inform the community through key research, publicity of industry trends and news.
• Enhance business relations and collaboration between media professionals from Greater China, UK and Europe, particularly in the areas of co-production, co-financing, talent development, distribution and exhibition.
