MILC PLATFORM TO COLLABORATE WITH NANJING UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS FOR CHINA-EU EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGE IN MEDIA & FILM
MILC Platform is excited to announce a collaboration with the Nanjing University of the Arts (NUA), and thereby joining the “German Centre for China- Euro Educational Exchange of Media and Film”.
Established in 2022 by Nanjing University of the Arts in China, together with several German institutions, the “German Centre for China-EU Educational Exchange of Media and Film” is based on former cooperations between Chinese universities and German partners, the centre aims to expand the international cultural partnerships between China and Europe, promoting the high-quality educational resources collaborations between China and Germany by conducting lectures in series, conference and international workshops.
Taking place from April to June 2023 is the second ever German-Chinese Media Summer Academy (Berlin/Munich/Nanjing/Prague), hosted by NUA and INTERFILM, a German short film sales and distribution agency and organisers of INTERFILM International Short Film Festival Berlin. The Academy offers Practical Courses in technologies and cases for film festival curators, educators, and designers in the areas of media and film.
A key theme in this year’s academy is “Material or Metaverse?”. MILC Platform will be supporting the Academy by bringing the event into the third dimension, though the screening of insightful educational content from leaders in the media and entertainment industries, as well as developing exciting initiatives to showcase the talented work by the academy participants.
MILC Platform is proud to support the development of media and film collaboration between China and Europe, breaking barriers both culturally and technically, through the adoption of the metaverse and emerging web3 technologies.
